Data processing notice
MixPerfect — iOS and Android App

1. Introduction and scope
This notice describes how user data is processed by the MixPerfect application, available on the App Store and Google Play. The app is developed by SabbaSoft (Sabbatino Gabriele) and operates in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Decree 101/2018, and Apple’s and Google’s requirements for distribution on their respective stores.

The Controller does not collect, receive, or access users’ personal data during ordinary use of the app. The app’s architecture is designed to keep all data exclusively on the user’s device.
3. Architecture: local processing
MixPerfect follows the principle of privacy by design. All data entered by the user stays exclusively in the device’s local storage. Specifically:
- No data is transmitted to the developer’s servers
- No account, email, or credentials are required
- No tracking, profiling, advertising, or analytics
- No access to location, contacts, photos, or other device data
4. Data processed locally
Users may optionally manage locally:
- Vehicle, machine, and tool records: brand, model, category, mileage (motor vehicles only) and its unit (km or miles)
- Fuel mix percentages and ratios associated with each record, with an optional data source (manual, label, personal experience) and a “verified source” flag
- Refueling history linked to each record: date, mileage, fuel and oil quantities, percentage, ratio
- Profile preferences: interface language, default units (km/miles, L/dl/ml), visual style, app version
This data is used solely for the app to function and remains under the user’s exclusive control. The fuel/oil calculator works without requiring the user to enter any personal data or create a record.
5. No third-party SDKs
The current version of MixPerfect does not integrate any third-party service: no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting system, no advertising, no tracking service. The app makes no network calls to the developer’s or third parties’ servers for its core functionality.
6. Future features (optional)
Future versions of MixPerfect may introduce, on an optional basis and subject to the user’s explicit consent:
- The ability to propose a record (vehicle, machine, or tool) to a public community database, subject to review by a moderator before publication
- Optional attachment of photos or PDF documents supporting the source of a mix percentage
These features are not yet active in the current version covered by this notice. When introduced, the app will request explicit consent and this notice will be updated accordingly, with an updated version number and date.
7. Retention and deletion
Data persists on the device until deleted by the user. The user can:
- Edit or delete individual vehicle/tool records
- Correct or delete individual refueling entries from the history
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
8. Data subject rights
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR, the user has the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing. For locally stored data, these rights are exercised directly through the app’s features. For any request: mixperfect@sabbasoft.it. The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or their local supervisory authority.
9. Data processed by Apple and Google
Downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play allows Apple and Google, respectively, to process user data as independent controllers (purchase data, device diagnostics, store statistics). The developer does not receive identifying data from Apple or Google.
10. Minors
The app is not specifically directed at minors and does not knowingly collect data from users under the age of 14.
11. Changes to this notice
The Controller reserves the right to update this notice in case of new features or regulatory changes. Changes are published on this page with an indication of the version and date.
